Welcome to Milltown Heritage's Blog

Milltown Heritage Group was set up in 2000 when a small group of people came together. They decided to ask the local community to donate artefacts for a local heritage museum. A collection of over 200 items are now on display. Those who wish to visit the museum can arrange an appointment to view the collection.

  1. Hi Pauline.
Great Job on your new blog that showcases what a great community spirit there is in Miltown, and I love the way you have linked in the use of technology used by the organisation, and how it gives your website global access to reach more users.
Excellent Blog, so informative and really enjoyed reading all the articles listed.

  2. Thanks Brona for your feedback, we are blessed in Milltown with the support we receive from our galway county heritage officer and the national museum of Ireland. They make sure we get the training we need to manage our archives and are always looking for new ways to improve and upskill. Creating this blog has an additional feature that we can use to share our heritage.
